Design of a Planar Antenna Array with Wide Bandwidth and Narrow Beamwidth for IR-UWB Radar Applications

This paper presents the design of an H-band planar antenna array with broad bandwidth and narrow beam width for IR-UWB radar application. The basic single wideband microstrip is achieved by adding slots inset-fed technique. Then, we proposed a on limited area that obtains essential beamwidth Non-Contact Human Vital Signs Detection experimental simulated results are in good agreement. measured show exhibits wide impedance 10.7% at around 7.5 GHz 40 degrees vertically 50 horizontally, respectively.
